Our goal is to make quality pediatric care more accessible and convenient
Pediatric Medical Associates is dedicated to providing children and their families with personal, high quality medical care and accessible support services within a nurturing environment. We are here to help parents understand, appreciate and respond to the social, emotional, intellectual, and physical growth of their children.
Pediatric Medical Associates’ philosophy of care is to provide an honest and scientifically based assessment of your child’s needs. We strive to educate you about the conditions and reasons for the treatment options offered. Our goal is to appreciate the diversity of our patient’s cultures and beliefs while delivering the best medical care possible.
Our role goes beyond providing the best possible care for your child. At Pediatric Medical Associates, we take that extra step to help educate you about your child’s health. Every visit we try to teach you and your child something new that will be helpful. In whatever way we can, the practitioners and staff at PMA are here to help parents offer their children the chance to attain their full physical, emotional and intellectual potential. In whatever way we can.
8:00am – 5:00pm
Well check-ups, immunizations & consultations are scheduled from
8:00am – 4:30pm.
Call for same-day urgent care/sick appointments.
We are on call for emergencies 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including holidays. Unlike many practices, a doctor is always available by phone.
(Hint: Our peak phone rush is from 9:00-10:30 am. For your own ease, please avoid these hours for non-urgent problems.)
We provide a special time of day to allow you to schedule a shot only type visit. This visit allows you to get vaccinations for your child without seeing a provider during the flu season or to catch up if a shot was missed during an illness. These visits may still have a copay attached if this is your insurance company’s policy. This way you can have maximal flexibility without seeing a provider. There will be no medical care during this type of visit.
If you require a controlled medication refill (ritalin, or such,) we require up to 72 hours to fulfill this request. We have to pull the chart and the provider has to review the records to comply with this type of request, so it takes a bit longer than a regular prescription.
Three waiting rooms:
Side A for well visits
Side B for sick children
Side door isolation room for rashes
