From the Beginning of Life to the Beginning of Adulthood
Parenthood is one of the most fulfilling roles a person experiences. It is also one of tremendous responsibility. The first eighteen years of your child’s life are filled with profound biological, emotional, social and intellectual changes. During these changes, your child is dependent on you for their well-being, health and safe passage into adulthood.
Fortunately, you don’t have to shoulder the responsibility alone. You can turn to an expert for help: YOUR PEDIATRICIAN.
We Specialize in Little Things
At Pediatric Medical Associates, we’re not just doctors, we’re pediatricians. That means Pediatric Medical Associates specializes in the care of children from birth through adolescence. PMA believe in going the extra mile to make sure you and your child are provided the highest quality care in an accessible, warm, friendly atmosphere. Every time.
Whether it’s handling the urgent problems of acutely sick children, or monitoring the development of well children, Pediatric Medical Associates strive to provide only the best care for your child. We provide the little extras like asthma treatments, routine lab work, minor suturing, circumcisions (with anesthesia), Immunizations California and an emergency triage system, all within the comfort and convenience of our office. We also offer counseling on preventive care, nutrition, and behavioral concerns. And for first-time parents, Pediatric Medical Associates offer monthly prenatal classes to help prepare you before your baby’s arrival. Nothing matters more than your child.
We are on call for emergencies 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including holidays. Unlike many practices, a doctor is always available by phone. Pediatric Medical Associates utilize a team approach so that your child’s visits will be overseen by your Doctor’s team of health providers. Plus, we personally monitor the care of children who require hospitalization, from well newborns to adolescents. All of our doctors have hospital privileges at Sutter Memorial Hospital and Mercy General Hospital. We’re here for your child. Always.
