Prescription Refills

The best way to get a refill is to have your pharmacy request it from our office. That way we are sure to have the latest refill information available to make sure your refill goes to the right pharmacy for the right medication.

Pediatric Medical Associates ask 48 to 72 hours for one of the doctors or nurse practitioners to fill your prescription requests. This is so that your chart can be pulled and reviewed by whoever wrote your last prescription. Since our Pediatricians and Nurse Practitioners want to give you the most consistent help, if your provider has a day off, we hold the request until he or she can review it personally.

We do not accept requests if you have not been seen for over a year, and we do not prescribe antibiotics over the phone without seeing our patients. If you need to call the office because of a medication adjustment or change, we may ask for you to make an appointment.
